Bucking the trend, most Trinity players stop playing well and working hard for the team in early May when they have got their club for next season sorted out. Danny has it seems to me always given his best and as a fan you can`t ask for more, you can forgive the weaknesses in his game because you know he is giving 100 %

1st match of the season at Cas he dropped the ball in the 1st 10 minutes with the line at his mercy. I thought here we go again but he later scored the match winning try and has continued grafting all season.

That's a shame and I wish him well. Already been said on this thread about his contribution this year, a big heart and wish they'd all been like him this year.

Having said that he can be replaced.

Although Washbrook has been a regular scapegoat for some Wakefield fans, he is very much an unsung hero.
Always amongst the top tacklers and despite the regular criticism, he sets up plenty of try's for Trinity.
