Well the 8’s aren’t quite concluded but what would be your preferred fixture list?

Mine is

Game 1. Wakey Home – tough game could go either way, but certainly winnable especially at home and hopefully before their newbies settle. Expect this to be a Saturday Evening TV game.

Game 2. Fax Away – Fax seem much improved as of late but anyone with SL aspirations must win this game.

Game 3. Sheffield Home – As Fax must win game.

Game 4. Salford Away – If we’ve managed to win the 3 above the AJ Bell will be as good as an home game, and with them blowing hot and cold, again winnable.

Game 5. Widnes Home – Better to play them gods green pleasant land, and when all's said and done its Widnes so a guaranteed 2 points.



Game 6. HKR Away – Very tough encounter especially away expect this to be a TV game battle for the top spot

. Head says a narrow defeat.



Game 7. Bradford Home – The positions may already be sorted by the time we get round to this one, if not whoever needs the win will win it.

Unless HKR beat Saints we are most likely to have Widnes away and HKR at home.

Would rather have Hull KR 1st game, the hardest game so if we loose can say "Ah well, Super 8s start now" if we win off to a real flying start. Plus While we have 2 (almost) dead rubbers against Dews & Donny then a week off, Hull KR have to battle Saints for an extra S8s home game then play Warrington in the Challenge Cup Semi-final, whoever plays Hull KR 1st has a real advantage. Bradford last would be good but I doubt they'd put us, Bradford, Wakefield or Salford playing each other near the end what with us being favourites to be in the million pound game.

Still I agree on your finishing table prediction.

I think we will be at home in the million pound game to Bradford or Wakefield in a 12000 sell out at the LSV !!

In the 4th and 5th playoff, i heard the Superleague team get the home game? I would have thought 4th would get the home game. We seem to be getting players back at Widnes for the playoffs, and just signed an Aussie centre.

The million pound game will be played at the home of the 4th placed club. It is not advantage SL and it is not played at Widnes along with the Champ shield and Champ 1 play off just to pick up on two rumours doing the rounds. It is on the RFL website.

Just thought though...the million pound game could still be at Widnes
