I think the opinion of Warrington from the outside is that we just throw money at the problem by buying in names. Can’t argue with it either.
That said, there is a shortage of good middles, but if you can get him fit and keep him on the pitch he is a good player. But his injury and disciplinary record are well established

he looks like a right dirty s0d... let's hope he can channel his talent for RL rather than his talent for the dark arts... like Sir Les did back in the day. We need a bit of more controlled aggression in the team...but its totally useless if it spends 70% of its time sat in the stands.

Are we talking about a different Les Boyd? I'd ask Kurt Sorenson, Paul Hulme, Ellery Hanley and Andy Gregory about that tbh.
I adored Les but the only reason he didn't have his own parking space at the RFL disciplinary meetings was because the game was rather different (and better) then. |

Is McGuire passed his best? Yes. Will he be better than what we have for the next 2 years? Also Yes. Very dirty player, which is lovely news…. |

The 'Les' we got didn't receive a two year ban for gouging whilst playing for us. He was still a player that dished it out in in the Primrose and Blue BUT he did channel his efforts MORE into the great rugby player he really was.
