So there's Wigan and Leigh, will Salford not be playing Swinton?

I do like a friendly against swinton but do we get any benefit physically or tactucally from this game would much prefer an away game @ Halifax much more of a challenge there imo

I thought we had to have 3 home friendlies to get the safety certificate? All against different levels of opposition. I may be wrong but I'm sure I've read that somewhere.

I would expect the 'future of Salford' game (if I've got that right?) to act as the intial ramp up event and then the games against Leyth and Wigan, unless I'm missing summat here?

fact is The ragged reds would be better getting a game on against teams they stand a chance of beating so they can build a bit of confidance, after all god knows they need it.

I'd prefer not to play Swinton, would hate to think that we're putting any money into their coffers.
