with certain players looking jaded or unfit how many players should we rest and who when we play blackpool?

personally i'd like to see webb,senior,bailey and jjb given a week off to recharge or get fitter

Blackpool maybe in C1 but they are as good as a mid table team or better in the C. Personally id rest the minimum amount of players and hope for a decent win. Last thing you need is half a team of kids when the team isnt high on confidence anyway. Use the game to try to play into a bit of form.

You may find Bailey will be 'rested' for the next few weeks.

Any official word on it or just what has been said on here?

I'd maybe add little Robbie to that list as well.

During the post-match interview on the website McClennan said he didn't expect either Bailey or Burrow to feature next week.

Bring Bush, Clarkson, Amor, Ambler etc in, give them a run out.

i can confirm bailey suffered a discolated shoulder last night....so will defo b out next week and prob the week after

Who we play at half back (assuming Burrow's out) may be interesting - Sinfield & McGuire or McGuire & Webb. I'd be inclined to go for the latter, allowing Sinfield to play loose forward. I'd be tempted to rest some people (Senior, JJB, Peacock) and possibly go for:

Smith; Bush, Delaney, Coady, Hall; McGuire, Webb; Leuluai, Buderus, Burgess, Kirke, Pitts, Sinfield. subs: Lauitiiti, Clarkson, Ambler, Amor.

or is that too risky?

Looks like Panthers are taking the same stance. According to Blackpool local paper MC will make 6 changes for the cup game. Admittedly that is me baffled!?
All I hope for is we're not totally thrashed and can then get back on with the main aim for the season.
