It probably was an option for us had we had a choice in the matter, perhaps the Salford owners cancelled because there were things they did not want airing in public they have after all had enough time to give reasonable explanations, our game was a good time for their fans to react to the club. Personally I believe that the rest of their games should now be cancelled giving the clubs still involved the same advantage/disadvantage with the 2points and 48nil score as it would not be practical or fair to try and resolve this fiasco because of the loop fixtures.

It's almost impossible to end up with points difference being the issue.

Agree with PT - the likelihood of drawing these days is almost none - we just need to win one more game than Hull, and we have Hudds, Cas and Salford to play, and they don't. 132 SL games played so far this year with 1 draw. 179 NRL games with 1 draw. Don't worry about points difference. 

The question really is whether another week off after playing poorly against Saints is a good or a bad thing. While our players were resting, Hull played and lost their best player John Asiata for the rest of the season, along with Will Pryce. There are many ways to slice it, and on balance we benefitted.

For me Hull have a much harder run in and have 2 of their key players out.


If they win enough to beat us to 6th then they deserve it.


I think it's in our hands to force them to win games.
Neither team is favourite to win their next match. If one wins it puts a lot of pressure on the other.

It’s well in our hands and wining tomorrow will put us in the driving seat. 

Last time if memory serves vs Wigan we had a good kicking game kicking to corners and the chasers just got up on them and didn’t give them much open field at all to run at. More of the same hopefully.
