We are really not in a position to judge any club. We have had several similar problems over our time in SL albeit we never called a game off. The problem for Salford was that despite being in financial trouble before the start of the season they continued to sign players in a hope that the on field performances would generate increased revenue coupled with the ground being purchased by the council.
Similar but not the same, far from it, regarding supporters, when they were stood on the terraces at old Trafford shouting and bawling they were not thinking about how they were going to balance the books, it always comes back to bite you, ask Bradford,do you think that the RFL would have allowed Wakey to carry on as long as Salford have? I very much doubt it, get shut and bring someone else in to SL.
