Contrast the two games for the Koukash family:
Friday - team on the up in lovely new stadium against a nearby team geographically who were last years Grand Finalists and with a traditionally huge away following - 6,200-ish
Sunday - a home team at its lowest ever point in its super league history playing in a soulless muddy bowl against a team with a traditionally small away following - 6,700-ish
Mrs Koukash has tweeted her bid has been declined by the administrator. I can't help thinking that this has been all about generating as much PR as possible. Anyone remember him saying he was signing Sam Tomkins and latterly Sam Burgess?
I did point out that the administrator would not be swayed by personality all he was interested in was to maximise the money paid so that he could use it to pay some of the creditors including his business. I suppose he will have asked the RFL for their input but providing whoever offered the most and was acceptable he would sell to. He is not interested in the Bulls going forward, once sold he walks away.
