He'll find it tough to get back into the first 17 in time for the WCC now, bet he's not happy. Shouldn't cause too much disruption to the team though, it's our strongest position. |

We had 4 out for most of last season on a rolling basis some came back others went out |

Assuming Gleeson, Sam and Fielden return before the season starts (which I think they're meant too to be fair) I suppose this is the problem with the notoriously hard pre-season we have. It might have been great when we had a new coach coming in with fresh ideas and everyone's eager for a new start but year on year it could prove to be draining. The pre season isn't long at all when you get to the final, have lots of players in the four nations, then need to hit the ground running for the WCC, time will tell. |

I heard Fieldens having an operation, so dont know how serious that is. Or what the operation is for, it could be lazer eye surgery for all i know.

Shows the squad depth we have. Charnley will do a great job, still not sure about Marsh defensively mind. But if most other sides lost 6 from their starting 13 they'd be struggling big time. Not sure we will be. |

And therein puts the debate to bed on the other thread who has the strongest depth in the league. Take any 6 out of Wire, Leeds and Saints of their first choice 17 and they would be struggling big time. |
