I wonder whether Bentham didn't get the gig because the RFL new there would be an uproar from the Wigan fans.
Either way as long as Silverwood ref's it fair then that's all we can ask for.

I thought Silverwood had a great game at Leeds. In fairness, despite all the pre match hype it wasn't a dirty game at all and played very cleanly between the two sides. But the fact he wasn't whistle happy made for a good game.

I just think out the two, Silverwood is ahead of him. He also has 5 years more "1st grade" experience than Bentham.

Silverwood was quality in the Leeds game I thought, he just needs more common sense on the ball steels. Balls don't just flirt out like a bar of soap.
