Its obvious we've lost confidence and we'll never regain any if we keep getting battered every week.

Personally I'm not looking at 2012 with much optimism......after all how many years have we been rebuilding the team and coming up with the same old rubbish.

Playing against weaker teams could get us a confidence boost and give the fans something to cheer about.

agreed Paul, but we have to man up before that, against KR. this is where we see whether Potter is a motivator and ruthless enough to ensure the want-aways do not demotivate the other players.

Of course I'm not seriously suggesting we play in the Championship but what I'm trying to say is how can we get some confidence back intro the squad.

OT. 2007 was a decent season with a horrible end. 2008 was passable. 2009 was plain weird. 2010 looked promising at the halfway mark, only to combust into a horrorshow. 2011 has to my mind been the worst of the lot, the Huddersfield game being the one game all season where we can say without any reservations that the team played well.

I don't see the point in pretending it's been unrelenting misery since Nobby left. It hasn't.

I'd say the rot really started in 2008 when we first signed a large number of average player in the close season and we've been doing that ever since.

3. We will get out of this slump it takes time. Wigan were in the 2003 Grand Final, nearly relegated in 2006. Now Super League champions in 2010. Every team has ups and downs. We just need to be patient.
